Your tour takes place in the world’s largest single-site brewery. The brewery experience includes a 30-minute self-paced tour highlighting our malting, brewing and packaging processes. Cool off in the “fresh beer room," where visitors sip a cold sample and rest on ice-cube benches in a refrigerated room.
Sampling Information: Samples of our great beers are available in limited quantity to those 21 years and older. All visitors must have a valid, government-issued ID to have an opportunity to sample. Non-alcoholic beverages also are available.

Hiwan Homestead Museum

Hiwan's restored 1890-1930 era rooms illustrate a comfortable style of early mountain summer home living. As a local history museum, it maintains active craft and interpretive school programs as well as changing exhibitions, which are sponsored by the Jefferson County Historical Society.

Hiking - Alderfer / Three Sisters Park

To access the park, travel south of Evergreen, Colorado on Highway 73. Turn west on Buffalo Park Road, approximately 1 mile to the east parking lot. A second parking lot is located another 1/2 mile along Buffalo Park Road. Motorized vehicles are confined to the parking areas and roadways.

Lookout Mountain Nature Center & Preserve

Connect with nature at this 110 acre park. Inside experience exhibits that depict migrating birds and reveal secrets of the ponderosa pine forest. Visit the Discovery Corner and Observation Room. Evergreen Lake - Rainbow trout fishing has been good using a bobber and night crawlers and the lake was stocked April 21st. Brown trout action has been fair at the inlet fly anglers have had the best luck. Tiger muskies have been biting near the dam the best time for muskie action is early morning, using large hardware. (All Tiger muskies fewer than 36 inches must be returned to the water immediately). Fishing Boats, Canoes, Paddle Boats & Sailboats may be rented on weekends weather permitting. No powerboats allowed and private boats must have a park pass or pay a daily admission for the 2010 season. The Boat House has cold drinks & snacks and now carries tackle supplies including worms. There is a 1.5 mile path around the lake and a picnic area with grills along the shore near the parking lot.

Evergreen Golf Course is located on the west shore of Evergreen lake west of downtown Evergreen. Wrapped around a mountain and cut through the ponderosa pines, Evergreen offers 18 challenging holes and spectacular views from every tee. Average golfers will find many side hill lies, wooded areas and out-of-bounds offer more challenges than the yardage implies and many advanced players will find many opportunities to create shots and discover hole designs that entice risk taking, but demand solid execution. Owned by Denver County, everyone should take advantage of this gem. You will find a round at Evergreen is affordable and an enjoyable experience and will be a true to challenge to the best players while accommodating those with higher handicaps.
